Halton Heritage Network presents … a Lighthearted Christmas Networking Event with Ken Weber (Professor Emeritus, University of Toronto) who will look at Canadian images and myths.

Our group of knitting enthusiasts welcomes knitters and those who would like to learn for an hour of friends, books and all things knitting-ish. Our knitting doctor will be in to provide help with a pesky pattern or other knitting questions. We meet the first Thursday of every month.

December 7 – Library Preschool Program Registration Begins – Halton Hills Public Library
Halton Hills Public Library has a great roster of free programs for young children. Beginning December 7 you can register online at www.hhpl.on.ca for Baby Tales (6 to 23 months), Tales for Twos (24 to 35 months) and Library Lion Tales (3 to 5 years). Programs begin in January. All you need is a Family PIN and personal identification numbers for each child. If you have not previously registered for library or recreation and parks’ programs, you can fill out a PIN application form online at (_)www.haltonhills.ca/recandparks”:http://www.haltonhills.ca/recandparks. Kids, it’s time for Halton Hills Public Library’s annual Lego contest! You could win a prize! Bring your masterpiece to the Georgetown Branch at 9 Church Street between December 11 & 28 for us to display. Then come in and vote for your favourites between December 29 and January 4. A Christmas Carole – Rated PG – Approx. 96 minutes. Kids can bring their lunch and watch a film! You don’t need to pre-register, but seating is limited.
