Speaking about the Town’s Earth Day celebrations, Mayor Rick Bonnette noted:
“Halton Hills has a long standing commitment to the environment. We
recognize that the health of our environment is key to moving forward on
sustainability. This is why we are celebrating Earth Day with several
events over two weeks. I invite all residents to take part in our
celebrations.”
As Chair of the Litter Free Task Force, Councillor Fogal said:
“Each year, we rely on local heroes to make our town a place we can all
be proud of. No one likes to pick up litter and it is sad that it needs to be
done. But if we do not do it, then it will not be done at all. I am proud of
our Councillors and Mayor for the leadership they display every Clean Up
Day.”
