"Elotada" Corn Roast at Andrews Scenic Acres

A free, family fiesta in honour of migrant farm workers from Mexico. Enjoy corn, live mariachi music and ceramic art workshops lead by artists from the Gardiner Museum of Ceramic Art. Hosted by Andrews Scenic Acres in cooperation with Enlace Community Link and the Town of Halton Hills.
The free event takes place on Sunday Aug. 23 from 12-5 p.m. at Andrews’ Scenic Acres.
Highlights include:
- fresh corn served at noon
- a Mexican ceramic art workshop with artists from the Gardiner Museum of Ceramic Art starts at noon
- traditional Mexican music by Mexico Amigo Mariachi starts at 2 p.m
