Business Consultant on Site – Octber 15 – Halton Hills Public Library, 9 Church St. – On Thursday October 15, a professional Business Consultant from the Halton Region Business Development Centre will be available at Halton Hills Public Library’s Georgetown Branch to help you start or expand your existing small business. Small Business Success Conference – October 20 – Halton Hills Public Library, 9 Church Street – Improve your business success with this half-day morning seminar on Tuesday, October 20 at Halton Hills Public Library, Georgetown Branch. Join Rick Bonnette, Mayor of Halton Hills, as he welcomes Donna Messer and Grant Lee. Donna Messer, President of ConnectUs Communications Canada, will discuss The Power of ONE: maximizing your potential when it comes to making a difference. Grant Lee, President of AGL Marketing Limited, will teach you how to use marketing principles in product/service development. Cost is $40 for Chamber Members and $45 for non-members. Author Maureen Jennings – Tuesday, Nov 3 at 7:30 p.m. – Halton Hills Public Library, 9 Church St. (Gallery) – The Canadian Federation of University Women is pleased to have Maureen Jennings, author of Murdoch Mystery Series and Christine Morris Series, discuss her work. Get a glimpse of historic Victorian Toronto through her photographs and stories while learning more about her adventures as a writer.
