Georgetown Longboard vs Vehicle Collision

On July 15, 2011 at approximately 12:37 a.m. a motor vehicle collided with 21 year-old male riding a longboard at the intersection of Mountainview Road North and River Drive in the Town of Halton Hills (Georgetown). The rider of the longboard was transported to Sunnybrook Hospital via air ambulance in life threatening condition.

The 19 year-old female driver was uninjured.

Both parties involved are Halton Hills residents.

Due to the extent of the injuries, the Halton Regional Police Collision Reconstruction Unit is investigating the collision. Witnesses are asked to contact D/Cst. Andy DENNIS at 905-825-4747
