Boy reaching for books at the library

Registration has begun for Halton Hills Public Library’s Cocoa Club. The Cocoa Club is a book club for kids aged 9 to 12 who are strong, interested readers. Meetings will be held the first Thursday of the month from 6:30 to 7:30 beginning in October.

Register in person at the Georgetown Branch’s Children’s and Youth Services desk. You’ll receive a copy of A Long Way From Chicago by Richard Peck, the book to be discussed at October’s meeting. Priority will be given to kids who haven’t participated before.
