“Water is a precious resource and we encourage everyone to be water wise both inside and outside their home,” said Regional Chair Gary Carr. “We can all do our part to conserve water and by doing this we can help preserve this limited resource for future generations.”
The 205 litre capacity (24” diameter) rain barrels fit in an average vehicle and require very little assembly. Residents should note that they are responsible for adapting their downspout to flow into the rain barrel – assembly and mosquito prevention instructions are included.
