Special Constable Michael Lindow, 38, of Mississauga has been charged with Assault Level 1. The charge stems from allegations that a prisoner was assaulted on his way into a Milton court room on September 18, 2008.

The victim did not suffer any serious injuries.

Special Constable Lindow has been suspended from duty and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Milton on November 4, 2008.
