Imagine Halton Hills Community Survey

Halton Hills and its citizens continue to plan for the future! Our latest initiative involves a community effort to prepare a Community Sustainability Strategy, a blueprint for a path towards a more sustainable future – a future with a great quality of life for all. This is an exciting path for Halton Hills, requiring us to ‘Imagine Halton Hills’ over the next 25 to 50 years. Imagine Halton Hills will be our path to a better place to live, work and play.

This path is being prepared through a very unique process, one that is being led by a broad multi-stakeholder group of individuals and community partners who are committed to building a sustainable community. This group is the Town Sustainability Advisory Committee. It is made up of about 30 individuals, with each providing a voice for a specific aspect of our community that can help make it the best place to live, work and play. This includes residents, business community, Councillors, youth, seniors, school boards, culture groups, various Town committees and Town staff.

To imagine Halton Hills in the future, your contribution is key! All Town residents are invited to take five minutes to share their hopes and dreams for Halton Hills over the next 25 to 50 years. To do this, please visit

Speaking about the Community Sustainability Strategy, Mayor Bonnette said: “As Chair of the Town Sustainability Advisory Committee, I see the preparation of our Community Sustainability Strategy as a tremendous opportunity for the whole community to lend its voice to shaping a vision for what Halton Hills should look like in the next 25 or 50 years. It is through this unique community-driven, bottom-up, initiative that we will uncover what we value about our community and how we can make it sustainable not only for our generation, but also for those that will follow us.
