Halton Hills was selected by WWF-Canada as one of just five Ontario municipalities which will assist WWF-Canada in developing and pilot-testing a municipal resource package for WWF-Canada’s The Good Life initiative. The Good Life initiative builds on the popular worldwide Earth Hour campaign and aims to make every hour Earth Hour whereby everyone is mindful of the need to conserve throughout the year.
Speaking about The Good Life, Mayor Bonnette said that:
“The Town’s participation in WWF-Canada’s The Good Life initiative underscores Town Council’s commitment to sustainability and to initiatives that help advance the Town on its sustainability journey.
I encourage all interested stakeholders to sign up for The Good Life and to assist the Town with Green Plan implementation. By doing so, you will be joining and meaningfully contributing to the Town’s sustainability journey.”
