The Halton Regional Police Service has made an arrest in connection with several break and enters which began in December 2007, in Georgetown.
Russell John White, 45 years, wanted on outstanding warrants in connection with six break and enters to retirement homes and apartments has been arrested.
As a result of an ongoing investigation involving members of the Waterloo Regional Police Service and the Provincial Repeat Offender and Parole Enforcement Unit (ROPE) and several southern Ontario Police Services, the accused was located in Toronto on January 21st, 2008.
He was arrested without incident.
Halton Regional Police have charged Russell White with 6 counts of break and enter and 6 counts of breach of probation. He remains in custody.
