Motorcycle Collision Fatality

Shortly after 7:00pm Wednesday July 20th 2011, a single motor vehicle collision occurred on Winston Churchill Boulevard, north of Georgetown. A 2002 Honda motorcycle left the roadway and entered a wooded area, adjacent to the highway, near the entrance to the Upper Canada college site.

The rider of the motorcycle, a 25 year old male from Maple, with a full motorcycle licence, was transported from the scene by air ambulance and taken to Sunnybrook Hospital in Toronto, where he succumbed to his injuries in the early morning hours.

Halton Regional Police, Collision Reconstruction Unit continue to investigate this collision.
