Mystery Shopper - Ace Corporate Solutions

The Regional Fraud Unit of the Halton Regional Police Service has received several complaints regarding Mystery Shopper want ads that have run in the local classified section.

Prospective employees have completed online applications and have received packages a few days later; within the package is a bank draft. The victim is then requested to cash the bank draft, take their fee and wire the remainder of the money to another location. The victim is led to believe that they are doing a survey on the money wiring company.

A few days later the bank where the draft was cashed contacts the victim to inform them that the draft is fraudulent. The victim is held responsible and is out the money.
The company named in the complaints received is Ace Corporate Solutions with a web address of www.acecorpsolution.com

Police are continuing their investigation into these complaints, but would like to remind the public that there are legitimate Mystery Shopping Companies, however, it is imperative that they use caution when dealing with anyone over the internet, and should exercise caution when asked to wire funds to an unknown party.
