Tuesday, November 2 at 7:30pm – CFUW Presents Natural Cosmetics – Halton Hills Public Library, Georgetown Branch (Gallery)
The Canadian Federation of University Women and Halton Hills Public Library is pleased to have Marilyn Patterson, Cosmetic Chemist, answer questions about natural cosmetics. Everyone is welcome!

Wednesdays, Until – November 24 at 2pm – Family Storytime in Acton – New Location! – Acton Hub (McKenzie-Smith Bennett School)
Halton Hills Public Library invites you to this free 30 minute program for grownups and young children to enjoy together. It includes stories, music and lots of fun.

First meeting Saturday, November 6 at 9:30am – Cocoa Club Children’s Book Club – Halton Hills Public Library, Georgetown Branch
The Cocoa Club is a wonderful book club program for kids who are proficient, enthusiastic readers. Register in person now and pick up a copy of the book we will discuss at the first meeting on November 6. For kids aged 9-13.

Wednesday, November 10 at 6:30 – 8:30pm – Starting a Small Business – Halton Hills Public Library, Georgetown Branch (Meeting Room)
Join us for this general overview of the things you need to consider when starting a small business, including regulations, licences, taxes and financing options. Brought to you by the Halton Region Business Development Centre. Please register at 1-866-4HALTON. Registration fee is $20.

Friday, November 12 at 12 noon – Munch to the Movies – Halton Hills Public Library, both branches
Kids can bring their lunch and watch a film! You don’t need to pre-register, but seating is limited. In the Acton Branch, we will be watching Home on the Range, and in the Georgetown Branch, we will be watching Atlantis.

Thursday, November 25 at 12 noon – Brownbag Lunch at Halton Hills Public Library – Halton Hills Public Library, Georgetown Branch (Gallery)
Bring a coffee, bring your lunch and bring your friends to hear A Feast of Non Fiction. Sit in a comfy chair, and enjoy your lunch while listening to Kim Sopinka, who has spent her working career in the graphic design and marketing industry. She is a reader, a gardener and a lover of good things to eat.
