Passenger Airlifted after Accident in Georgetown

The Halton Regional Police Service Collision Reconstruction Unit is investigating a serious motor vehicle accident in Georgetown.

On June 12th, shortly before 1:30 pm a transport truck ran into a car on Guelph Street at Windsor Road in Georgetown.

Emergency vehicles are still arriving on scene but it is anticipated the passenger in the car will be airlifted for emergency care.

Guelph Street between Maple Avenue and Mountainview Road will be closed for an indefinite length of time.

No other details are known at this time.
