Police Warn of Fraudulent Persian Rug Sales Targeting Seniors

Police are investigating fraudulent activity targeting seniors within the community. Fraudsters solicit the victims and offer silk Persian rugs at a discounted price. The victims believe the transactions to be to their benefit when in fact they pay inflated prices for non-silk items worth only a fraction of what is paid.
