On Tuesday April 5th 2011 between 10 am and 1 pm the Milton S.A.L.T. group (Seniors and Law Enforcement Together) will be hosting a FREE informative seminar at the Milton Seniors Recreation Centre, located at 500 Childs Drive, Milton. Learn how to “Protect Yourself Against Title and Mortgage Fraud” with speakers from First Canadian Title, Gyphon Law Chambers and The Royal Bank. A complimentary lunch will be served at the event.

S.A.L.T. is a volunteer, community based organization designed to meet the public safety concerns of seniors in Halton Region. It is a police advisory council and an action committee. Our volunteers work with the Halton Regional Police Service Elder Services Coordinator, to provide education to seniors about personal safety, home security, safe driving for seniors, frauds & scams, abuse of Power of Attorney, crime prevention and Elder Abuse.
