Robbery at Petro Canada Gas Station in Halton Hills

The Halton Regional Police Service is investigating a robbery that occurred at the Petro Canada gas station located at 13605 Steeles Avenue, in Halton Hills.

On December 8th, shortly before midnight a man walked into the Petro Canada gas station and went straight to the counter where a lone male employee was standing.

The suspect ordered the attendant to open the cash register, a weapon was not seen but the suspect kept a hand in one of his pockets and the victim felt the suspect was concealing a weapon. Once the cash register was opened the suspect reached over and removed an undisclosed amount of money. Before leaving the store the suspect
also removed an unknown quantity of lottery tickets.

The suspect left the store and was last seen walking north from the location. The employee was not injured during the incident.

The suspect is described as, male, white, 6’, 200lbs. He wore a red long sleeved sweater, black pants with a yellow stripe and a black wool hat.
