Robbery at Shoppers Drug Mart in Georgetown

The Halton Regional Police Service is investigating a robbery that occurred at the Shoppers Drug Mart located at 265 Guelph Street, in Georgetown.

On November 13th, shortly after 11:15 pm a lone male entered the store and approached an employee at the Pharmacy counter. The suspect made demands for narcotics and indicated he was in possession of a gun.

The suspect received an undisclosed quantity of medications and fled the store. He was last seen traveling west bound on Guelph Street riding a dark coloured mountain bike.

The suspect is described as, male, white, 40 to 50 years old, 6’3”, thin build, approximately 170lbs, blonde and grey hair. He wore a dark toque, dark sweater, dark pants, dark gloves, a light blue surgical mask and an orange and yellow mesh construction vest.
