
On Wednesday November 18th at approximately 4:20pm, members of the Halton Regional Police responded to a serious head on motor vehicle collision on Guelph Line north of Derry Road in the Town of Milton.
The accident occurred during the regions first winter snow storm, where a 2005 Ford F550 Truck collided head on with a 2002 Honda Odyssey Passenger Van.
The occupants of the Honda Odyssey were extracted using the “Jaws of Life” as a result of the severe damage to the vehicle caused by the collision.
The Honda Odyssey was occupied by four Milton residents who are related, all aged in their eighties. All four were transported to Milton District Hospital where they were admitted with serious injuries.
The driver and the passenger in the Ford F550 are residents within the Region of Halton, were not injured as a result of the collision. The incident is currently being investigated by the Halton Regional Police Reconstruction Unit and Milton Uniform Patrol.
The identities of those involved in this serious motor vehicle collision are not being released by the Halton Regional Police at this time.
