Suspicious woman in Georgetown

Halton Regional Police Service

The Halton Regional Police Service is currently investigating a report of a suspicious woman in the Georgetown area.

On September 11th, shortly after 3:00pm a 9 year old Georgetown boy was walking home in front of 170 Eaton Street in Georgetown. At this time a female parked in a vehicle on the east side of Eaton Street spoke to the boy and stated “its ok sweetie, I’m going to your house after so you can come into my car” The victim having never met this woman ran straight home.

The female is described as in her 50’s with some wrinkles on her forehead. The vehicle in question is described as beige with a square front. A dog in the vehicle resembled that of a Chihuahua.

The parents and the victim did not report the incident to police until the 14th September. There have been no other reported incidents since the occurrence on September 11th.
