Three newly-arrived family physicians accepting patients in Halton Region

Members of the Halton Physician Recruitment Initiative are pleased to welcome three newly-arrived family physicians to Halton.

• Dr. Luay Al-kazely has opened a medical clinic in the City of Burlington after practising family and emergency medicine in Hamilton for the past several years. He is accepting new patients at the Plains Medical Centre, 141 Plains Road West in Burlington. His office can be reached at 905-218-6000.
• Dr. Victor Van has joined the Halton Hills Family Health Team and the Georgetown Medical Associates at 199 Princess Anne Drive, Georgetown. Dr. Van completed his medical degree at the University of Alberta and his family medicine residency training at McMaster University. He has hospital privileges with the Georgetown Hospital, Halton Health Care Services. Dr. Van’s office can be reached at 905-873-3000. He is accepting new patients.
• Dr. Adam Filipowicz has recently opened a practice in Milton after practising medicine in Kentville, Nova Scotia for more than 20 years. He is accepting new patients at his office at 470 Bronte Street South, Unit 204 and his office can be reached at 905-636-1216.
