The Halton Regional Police Service has concluded “Project Safe Start” and the results are in.

The project “Safe Start” began in 2006 to remind our driving public of the need to be courteous to other drivers and our children, particularly at the time of year when they make their way back to school.

The project was a regional response utilizing the District Response Enforcement Units and District Patrol officers. The project ran from September 1st to September 17th.

Traffic education and enforcement are one of the top policing priorities for the Halton Regional Police Service, and officers encourage the public to do their part to keep Halton roads safe for pedestrians, cyclists and motorists alike.
